Consulting for preclinical safety

R.A. Ettlin has over 40 years of experience in general management, general and experimental medicine and pathology, and especially in toxicologic pathology and preclinical safety testing at large in Switzerland, in the United States of America and in Japan by working at hospitals, universities, national institutions and in industry. Since 2009, R.A. Ettlin acts as independent consultant for preclinical safety, first with Ettlin Consulting AG (until the end of 2020), then 2021-24 as Ettlin Consulting, and finally as a private consultant. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences (FATS), of the International Academy of Toxicologic Pathology (FIATP) and is accredited in the Swiss and the European Register of Toxicologists (ERT 1997-2021).

R.A. Ettlin (co)authored some 85 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, books as well as over 30 abstracts; he gave some 70 presentations at congresses and for industry by invitation. He also served as editor of the European Society of Toxicology (EST) and EUROTOX Newsletters, as lecturer for toxicology and toxicologic pathology at various universities, and as (co)organizer of various training sessions, workshops and congresses in drug development, toxicology and pathology. He is a Past-President and Past-Secretary-General of various international and global scientific organizations.
